L. Craig Nierman represents people, small businesses, and medical providers in insurance and injury claims as well as civil litigation matters. He graduated from University of Iowa College of Law in 1999 “With High Distinction” and was named to the Order of the Coif, the national legal honor society. Prior to that he worked in claims in a Fortune 100 insurance company.

Mr. Nierman has taught Insurance Law as an Adjunct Professor at the law schools at the University of Iowa and Handong Global University (South Korea). He serves nationally as an expert witness in insurance litigation and has co-written a college business law textbook.

Craig married his high school sweetheart; they have lived in the Iowa City community since 1993. They have two adult children and he has been active in a number of community organizations including their church, youth sports, scouting, and several non-profits.
